Some sources (historical encyclopedias, historical atlases or catalogs) show this flag, but its real existence cannot be proven. The flag with the eagle is often seen as a symbol of the states of the Habsburg monarchy, the Empire of Austria and Austria-Hungary. This flag shows the eagle in a similar way to how it was used in the lesser national coat of arms from 1836.
