The flag of Venaissin is a flag, that shows the image of the coat of arms, two crossed golden keys on red. This is an indication that the County of Venaissin was ceded to the Pope by the King of France in 1274. From 1309 to 1377 the capital Avignon was even the seat of the Pope. The flag has regional significance to this day.
