The flag of the Dauphiné is a flag, that shows the image of the coat of arms, as it was used by the County of Dauphiné between 1349 and 1789. When the last count of the Dauphins dynasty sold the county and the title "Dauphin" to Charles of Valois in 1349, the county came to the French crown. The heraldry of the Dauphiné was combined with the lilies of the Capetians. The flag has regional significance to this day.
