Flag of Mecklenburg, size: 150 x 90 cm

The state of Mecklenburg was ruled for centuries by two lines of the Obotrites dynasty, most recently Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The flag and the state colors, if they did not have a coat of arms, were the same for the both parts of the country. The flag of Mecklenburg was always in the colors blue, white and red, but the state colors were blue, yellow and red, starting in 1863.
